Truck Purchase

January 08, 2017
Summary:

The Mayfield Fire District distributed bids in September of 2016 for the purchase of a new pumper/tanker.  The bids were received and reviewed and the Board approved the purchase of a pumper/tanker from KME Kovatch Fire at a cost of $414,00.  The Board is excited to stay within budget and that through careful planning and saving, is able to pay for the truck without financing.  The funds are in a reserve account which calls for a permissive referendum resolution to remove the funds to use for the purchase.  The Board passed the following resolution on December 2, 2016:
